'Join us for a one-day workshop focusing on geo-based and bio-based materials.

In one atelier, you will discover the potential of unfired earth. We will give you an overview of the different earth construction techniques, but mostly get your hands dirty and create various shapes in rammed earth.

The other atelier will zoom in on the potential of using natural fibres in construction.

Around lunch, we will do a lecture on the technical behaviour of natural materials, with a focus on lime-hemp.

Throughout the day, you will also discover lime-hemp in a hands-on and active way. Finally, we will expose the fibrous and earthy volumes. '

This workshop is organised by UHasselt, in collaboration with Woonder and BC materials.
